We're Open !!!!!
Hi everyone! We're open! Thank you for your patience! We've finished up our renovations and have re-opened. We had a lot of work to try to cram into the 2 weeks that we were closed. I'm sure that we could not have completed all that we did without the help of our friends. Without mentioning any names (because you know who you are!!), Cathy and I want to extend a most sincere "Thank you" and deep gratitude to all of you that helped. We can never thank you enough!!
During the renovations, we opened up and added over 400 sq. ft. of space to the store, so now we're even bigger than ever!! The additional space allows us to continue to grow and expand during 2009 & 2010. In the upcoming months, Cathy will continue bringing in new products for your selection, and expanding the selection on existing products.
In addition to the renovations, we have started our Summer Hours, which are listed below:

And One For Them
As part of our Giving Back efforts, we are starting a new program called "And One For Them" here at the store that we think you'll like. This is something that Cathy worked on for a while now, and is a program that she unveiled in June '07. To put it simply, the new program that she rolled out is for !!! FREE CLASSES !!!
OK - So what's the catch? Well, here is the deal.
We offer free classes (a morning session & an afternoon session) on one Saturday a month. This will be an ongoing effort and will be a different project every month. In exchange for the waived class fee, you will leave your finished project with La Mia Felicita. Cathy will then take all of the finished jewelry over to the Dress For Success organization in Concord, NH. Their mission is:
"to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life."
So you will leave here with the knowledge of how to make a new piece of jewelry, as well as the satifaction of helping someone feel good about themself.
For the designated Saturday, the first session runs from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM, and the second session is from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. In our Calendar, look for the next "And One For Them" Saturday class. As with any class though, please register at least 24 hours in advance to hold your spot, and supplies are not included as part of the free offer. If you're unable to attend, donations of your jewelry are also gladly accepted.
