Beads have been an important part to society as they have been:
Beads have been a part of our lives for many thousands of years. They have been found in every part of the world throughout history. Beads have also played many different roles for various cultures. They have been made from almost every medium one can imagine, such shells, clay, eggs, metal, amber, ivory, wood, nuts, etc.
part to society as they have been:
Today, there aren't too many changes of why and how we use beads. Yes, technology has changed, so there are more perfectly shaped beads and more people have access to more types of beads and more patterns, but the fact that we bead in groups, we use beads on our clothing, our quilting, in our religion, to make jewelry, and use them for gifts is quite remarkable. These similarities and unwaivering consistencies really speak volumes considering how many things change and go by the wayside.
