Quilted Bead Bags

La Mia Felicità is proud to announce the addition of the Quilted Bead Bag. These handmade quilted bags are made by our very own Dorothy Russo. Dorothy makes these incredible bags by hand from start to finish, and top quality. We launched them towards the end of 2009, and have been a huge success. Stop using those old Walmart plastic bags to carry around your tools and supplies. Go to your next Bead Social or Beading class in style!! New Book Titles

As they say in the world of real estate, the secret to prime real estate is books, books, books. Ok, maybe they don't say that, but we do. We always have over 200 titles for your selection, and we've recently added more titles. We have brought in a whole new line of Quilting With Beads titles for those cross-crafting projects.

Special Guests (Deb Fairchild)

Deb Fairchild is a juried League of NH Craftsmen member. From her website is states: "Deb is known throughout the NH beading community as a small bead artist and teacher.  She is well-versed in off-loom and loom weaving techniques as well as related media such as chain maille and polymer clay.

Although she works with many off-loom beadweaving techniques, she especially likes the lacy, supple fabrics which are derived from the freeform expression of right-angle weave, bead netting and brick stitch.  The freeform platform also provides a strong foundation for experiments in the use of color and adaptations of technique which have become the hallmark of her work.  Each piece is a one-of-a-kind study in color, rhythm, movement, and form."

Deb will now be a more frequent guest instructor here at La Mia Felicita. Aside from finding Deb at our store now, you can still find her teaching at BeadBush Studio (Deerfield, NH). Deb worked along side of Judy Bush in creating the Master Beader program as well. We're happy to have Deb be a more frequent instrcutor at our store.

Remodel 2009

After 3 years in business, Cathy thought it was time for a little make-over. We shutdown the store for a 2 week period and did some major renovations. For those of you that have been with us for a while, you will certainly notice the difference. The store received some new paint, some new fixtures, and we essentially added about 400 sq. ft. of space to the existing sales floor. What was Cathy's office has been torn down, which really opened up the look and feeling of the entire store.
